My friend has a touch of pneumonia in the right lung. ER Dr prescribed cough medicine with codeine a week ago friday(yesterday) plus Z pack. She finished the Z pack & the cough medicine. Used a previous prescription cough syrup from visit to clinic prior to ER visit. Finished that & now using Delsym & also finishing previous antibiotic from clinic as per Dr's orders via telephone. Hopefully she can see Dr Monday as regular Dr on vacation & this fella is associate. Point is, the cough, which is very deep, persists, Sounds phlegmy but she hardly brings anything up. Can't sleep laying down & sometimes bladder empties while cough spasms continue.
