My friend has had every body scan and heart scan possible. She is having a type of tremor or attack at random times. (it is not a panic attack) Her dog knows it is coming on and if she can get warm quickly, will prevent it from happening. She gets fatigued afterwards and usually has to take a nap (even if she was perfectly rested before the incident). This started in November. Her Endocrinologist sent her to a Psychiatrist ~ what a joke. She sees him on the 7th, so he can give her a referral to a Neurologist. This is crazy to me. She finally called a Neurologist at St. Luke's...to be seen on the 30th (if the Psychiatrist gives her the referral). (this is after her Internist sent her to a cardiologist and then the cardio sent her back to her PCP... This is scaring her and trying her patience. (mine too) She finally scheduled the Neurologist because when she was helping her son with an economics problem over the weekend, she noticed that when she read the problem out loud, she was having a hard time verbalizing the words. (not reading the word, but saying the word out loud. Please lead me in a good direction for her and let me know if this sounds familiar...or as simple as Vitamin b12 deficiency? Oh, one of the test her Heart dr. did showed high dopa-mine (?) levels, which lead on the wild goose chase with endocrinologist. she has Never done drugs, does not drink, etc, not on any meds. Thx
