My friend's doctor diagnosed him with low risk myelofibrosis. He has absolutely no symptoms and feels wonderful. WBCs are between 17000 and 19000 and he has an enlarged spleen. CT scan does show some cirrhosis of liver and varices. Do you think it is myelofibrosis or could it be liver disease. He was a heavy drinker and quit cold turkey a year ago and health wise feels great.
