Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My grand-daughter of 2 and a half came to our house with poc like bumps or pencil on an eraser size dark red/brown marks that to me looked infected. forehead, inbetween eyes and at nose and under one arm when with us. Mother said she wasn't allowed to ask at day care of there were any other children that had the poc like marks on them even if she was asking in general and not for names or ages etc. The doctor said they were infected by scratching and picking at them. Had a slight fever as well. Said she probably had a slight infection that caused the poc marks. I remember that at the onset of a virus and at the end of a virus a child may have a rash but I thought it was more like a scarletina type rash and not poc marks that to me looked like chicken pox.
