My Grandson Has Been Hospitalized For 5 Days With Jaundice.

My grandson has been hospitalized for 5 days with jaundice. He is 14 years old with normal development. His appetite been decreased in the past 3 wks. He had multiple tests & a liver biopsy to rule out liver cancer, hepatitis & chirosis. He has been home now 3 days. Symptoms do not appear to have improved. He is extremely fatigued, lethargic, no appetite. Last night he complained of a head ache. Gave him 2 Tylenol - within 5 minutes he threw up what appeared to be just bile w/ no sign of the tablets he had just ingested. We came home with 2 possible diagnosis 1) a virus that would not show up on tests ( possibly reoccurring due to fibroids that showed up on his bile ducts/ liver. 2) P13. He is not showing the extensive itching associated with P13.
My question WHAT can we do at home now to help him recover. He will return for a follow up in 2 weeks. We want explicit information on what we can do
for him now.
