Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My grandson went to the dr. two days ago and was told he failed to come in for a pill count, he explained he had got a message on his answering machine that said his appointment had been changed and for him to bring in his bottles when he came in, his mother called the dr office and said he had an appointment with the arthritis specialty on that day so they tell him that is ok they will resecuale his appointment so they never did call so twenty seven days went by and no one called so she called and they told her he had failed to show up for a pill count. The dr told him they had left two messages and he did not show up, so he told the story about his mother calling to resecuale the dr tells him that that is all they are required to do. and my grandson ask how could he prove he had received the messages because he had only received one call. I guess what I am asking what are the rules of contacting someone for a pill count?
