My Heart Beats Really Hard , And It Feels Like It Flutters All The Time. Why?
my heart beats really hard , then flutters and i feel it in my neck and also pressure in my head during the heart fluttering. this happens regularly and mostly when i am not doing anything. also i can feel this very hard in my upper back area. is this normal? my heart skips beats, then beats very hard then flutters and i can feel this in my throat. while all this is happening my head feels very pressured and my back hurts as well in between my shoulder blades, is this normal?
Dear Carla Willis,
Welcome to healthcaremagic forum...
Palpitation is defined as increased heart beat which is usually felt consciously... This is definitely an abnormal event...
However most often palpitations are physiological response to an event such as fever, stress and anxiety.. This is normal...
Except this all other palpitations are abnormal event...
Cardiac examination and evaluation consisting of ECG, Holter monitoring is warranted in such conditions...
Hope this was useful..
Regards
