My husband fell 3 days ago on his right hip. He can walk, but has been very sore. Today VERY DARK bruises have appeared on the back of his right thigh and behind his knee as well as lighter bruises on the right hip where he landed when he fell. My question is should we be concerned about blood clots or something else? We didn't go to the doctor because he didn't think (and still doesn't) anything is broken. My husband is 75, active, and is in good health. He just lost his balance when he stepped down wrong out of the back of his pickup. Thank you!
