My husband fell off of a hoverboard last night. He fell on his back. Shortly after, he started to feel pain in lower abdomen that seemed to be increasing. He refused to go to ER. The pain seemed to decreased so we went to bed. He woke up this morning and said he felt a little sore but that the pain was not as severe as last night. A few hours later, the pain increased to the point where he was hunched over. So he went to go lay down and is now sleeping. I'm worried that there might be some kind of internal injury. I know that the only way to know for sure would be to take him to ER to have some tests done. My question is, could a fall on his back cause an injury to abdomen? If so, what do I need to watch out for until convincing him to go to the ER?
