My husband had a diverticular bleed a year and a half ago. the bleed was stopped by the insertion of coils. Since then he has had abdominal pain and such, but his abdomin has gotten really large and his belly button has changed from an inny to a flatter looking thing. He has gained about 20 pounds, but is there a medical issued we should be concerned about because of this localized weight gain?
