Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband had a heart attack 3+ years ago. In the morning he has been taking Metoprolol ,Hydralazine,Isosorbide, and potassium. Eves, he takes 81mg aspirin and 40mg atorvastatin. He weighs every morning and monitors weight carefully. He started taking trazodone to help him sleep about 10 days ago. His ankles and feet are swelling. Is this due to an interaction with trazodone? He never has had any ankle swelling...even when he had his congestive heart failure. Any suggestions as to what might be causing it now? I have to add that he has been sitting in one position for several hours today.
