My Husband Had Lipotripsy Done On August 28. On August

My husband had lipotripsy done on August 28. On August 30, he developed 101 degree fever and pain and was rushed to emergency room per doctor's orders. Doctor performed another procedure to try to remove stone lodged in urethera (urinary tract?) and a stent was placed in there also. An exray performed 6 days later has resulted in numerous stones still remain and doctor has stated he can either do another lipotripsy or use an instrument to try to remove the stone. Either procedure would require anesthesia. My husband has already had more anesthesia than he should have and has experienced confusion, tiredness, etc. due to (I believe) the anesthesia administered in two days. What is your opinion on anesthesia again and treatment for remaining stones.
