My Husband Had Major Pain In His Left Shoulder Blade

My husband had major pain in his left shoulder blade area into his neck. He went to Emergency today. They took x-rays and found nothing. Prescribed him valume and figured it was a pinched nerve. He slept a while. His back feels quite a bit better. The pain has now moved into his arm and his hand and fingers are numb and tingling. He called the doctor and he never got back to us.
