Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has ED. For several years he took a 20mg dose of Cialis before sex and it worked wonders. The price became outrageous ($50 a pill!) so we've been unable to purchase it. So we've been having pitiful sex for about a year. His penis doesn't get hard enough for penetration and he ejaculates almost immediately. This from a man who could wait and wait and wait to ejaculate for hours in our previous normal-sex/Cialis-sex life. Yesterday was his 50th birthday and we splurged and bough a Cialis tablet. He was able to get an erection just fine, but he was unable to orgasm and he lost his erection completely after about an hour. He said it felt great and when I was giving him oral sex at the get-go (something I've not been able to do for a very long and quite enjoyed) he almost had an orgasm, but he stopped himself because it was too quick. After that he said it felt great, but after me having multiple orgasms he told me he would not be able to have one himself and then quickly lost his erection. I found out afterwards that he bit the 20 mg pill in "half" and only took part of it. Will not taking enough Cialis result in not having an orgasm? Is the portion of the pill that he did take still in his system 10-12 hours later. If we were try to have sex again now (without him taking the rest of the pill) will it work or is there not enough in his system to do any good? I can't imagine he will want to keep having sex anyway if he doesn't orgasm. This is seriously affecting our marriage in very negative ways.
