My husband has been off Coumadin for several years now and has managed any possible clots by taking nattokinase, vitamin E, Serrapeptase (enzyme formulation), Cardio plus, and several other things (natural).
He is on a boatload of natural supplements as he also has prostate cancer and is doing carrot juicing for this (which seems to be helping). He was walking off and on, and doing some rebounding several times per week.
He has not been drinking much water. How much does that affect the blood viscosity? He gets liquid from the carrot juice, but that' different from water. Our European M.D. (practicing acupuncture here) said his dog was given "rat poison" and bled to death. Some of the natural items Russ was taking are also good blood thinners. What about interactions with Coumadin and natural blood thinners, some of which are listed above. (also, what about wearing compression stockings to prevent blood clots - every drug as you know comes with side effects, especially long term) Thanks for your help.
