My husband has been taking citalopram for about 3 years now. We are trying to conceive and have heard that the citalopram could lower sperm count and/or reduce mobility of the sperm. Is this true? Is there anything we can do besides taking him off the medication. Once off the medication how long would it take to return the sperm to normal? We conceived our first two children within 2 months of "trying".
