my husband has coronary artery disease. He was diagnosed 18 months ago. He doesn't have high blood pressure or high cholesterol. in the last 18 months he has had 4 angiograms & got a stent each time. He is facing genetics his grandfather had it. How can we fight genetics?
The best thing to do in your husband case is to live a healthy lifestyle. A balanced diet low in starch and animal fats rich in vegetal fats and proteins.
I recommend to walk 3-5 km a day and to exercise alot (aerobic and cardiac).
Hope this was of help! Dr. Benard
