My husband has hypertension with elevated pulse rate. Even when he gets the blood pressure down with the old medicine not the new one didn't touch it the pulse rate barely breaks under 100. And only for a little while. He is 56 this month Has kept his blood pressure down without medicine for a year after being on lisinopril since his early 30's. Now it is mind bongling went to dr this past Monday she did not read his past hx and cut us off when we tried to tell her about mini stroke in brain stem and 3 past hospitalizations over the past 5 yrs. question is when is it time to go to hospital and what can we naturally do for pulse rate which has ran in 90's and low 120's for 2 years or a little more?
