My husband has like a knot of flim or something in his throat that he's had going on three weeks. He went to the doctor last week and he was told it was a touch of asthma and allergies. Well he prescribed cough medicine and an asthma pill. It feels like something is lodged in his throat and he can't cough it up. He gets to coughing and gaging spells so bad he gasps for air. At times it so bad he feels like he's going to pass out. We called the doc because there was no relief after five days and he prescribed and inhaler. He did that for only a day and quit. He gaged just trying to get it down his throat. He is spitting up clear flim. (I know
that's misspelled). What do you think it could be?
