My Husband Is 66. He Was Treated For Melanoma Of

My husband is 66. He was treated for melanoma of the eye 8 or 9 years ago. Lately he has had some memory loss as is lathargic. The past couple of weeks he sleeps a lot and stays in his bathrobe all day. He is semi retired. The has been a big change in his personality and it's scary. He also has been taking ambien for a few years and has had prostate cancer. I'm loosing patience with him. He doesn't seem to care. He had an appointment with his GP today and canceled it. I guess he has lost his drive to make his life better. I wish I knew whether it's psychological or physiological. Where do we start . He is seeing his GP on thursday
