My Husband Is A Lung Transplant Patient. He Is On

My husband is a lung transplant patient. He is on lexapro and was on azithromycin but was taken off the azithro due to the interaction with the lexapro. Dapsone was added as the antibiotic to prevent any more occurrences of pneumonia. We believe however the dapsone is causing a worsening of his anemia. He is not a heart patient but does have a cardiologist among other doctors that monitor his body systems since his transplant. He needs to be on the azithro as his transplant uses it as part of his regimen for his anti-rejection. Did we make the correct decision in stopping the dapsone?
