My husband is suffering from complicated migraines. He has also had two back surgeries and has rods and cages. His pain mngmt. Dr has him on percocet 10/325 up to 5 a day, soma350 3x a day neurontin 300mg @ 5a day.
He gets epidUrals regularly so pain meds drop down. His. Neurologist has him on topamax 100 mg. @ bed elavil HCl 100 mg. 1@ am 1@ pm propanolol 60mg. Am 40 mg @ bed. Also 400 mg. Ibuprofen. One tab twice a day. And magnesium citrate 300 mg. Daily. Also he takes paxil 40 mg daily xanax 1 mg. Up to 3@ day for anxiety prilosec 20 mg. Daily 1 81mg. Aspirin daily. On top of all this they infuse him weekly with magnesium sulfate through IV. Nothing is helping at all. I feel he is on too many meds. He has lost a full week this time. The most has been four days. Any suggestions please. ERs are not helping. Thank you, Marcia stine
