My husband last week was having extreme lower back and groin pain as well as peeing blood. he went to the doctor, they used a sonogram to look at his kidney and bladder as well as did blood and urine tests. His kidney and bladder looked fine. He also at that time had a severe cold and irregular heartbeat. They found out he had hyperthyroid so he is now on medicine for that and on a second dose of antibiotic for strep. Just tonight the pain in his lower back and groin came back. He is also throwing up now. Do we need to go to the emergency room?
