Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband recently had a CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis. It also showed a 2mm right lower lobe subpleural nodule. No consolidation at the lung bases. He has never been a smoker and is 48 years old. Our doctor wants to wait 6 months to have a CT scan of the chest due to radiation and the fact that it's small and he is a non-smoker. He also had a few very small simple cysts on his kidneys. Is waiting 6 months the right thing to do and is this something to be worried about?
