My husband was diagnosed wit bladder cancer, he was doing the BCG therapy, then he got real sick, fever. I took him to the va emergency room. where they did so many tests, x-rays, ultrasound on his liver which found lesions. the er doctor told him the cancer had spread to his liver and to get a pet scan. that was on Saturday. on mon I called the nurse that gave him the bcg therapy, she called back saying the doctor wants to see him right away. once in his office he told us my husband does not have liver cancer, he has hepatitis. how can they take blood on Saturday and not know he got hep?
