My husband was hit by a car while riding his bicycle two days ago. The entire left side of his body hit the car. HIs helmet was cracked in 2 places, but there was no head injury, no spinal damage. But his left clavicle is really sticking up abnormally. The surgeon at the hospital that night ordered more x-rays than were first taken and also told us the clavicle was "bent." At the age of 58, I wouldn't think our bones would bend like a child's. I see the answer you gave someone regarding a child. It seems hard to believe it can straighten out on it's own. Really?
