My Husband Was In A Serious MVA In 2009 And

My husband was in a serious MVA in 2009 and had a head injury, he has since fully recovered. This evening he was a playing soccer with our son and sustained a hard hit form the ball to front/side of the head and has had two episodes of fluid leaking from his nose, but otherwise seems fine. Is this an indicator of something more serious? Should I seek medical attention for him?
