My husband who is 63 years old and diabetic and I was having dinner tonight and he started complaining about his neck being stiff and sore, then in the middle of our conversation he started staring into space, the his head dropped down and he became unresponsive. He was still breathing and had a pulse. A lady came over and gave him some sugar thinking that it was his blood sugar being too low. When the first responders got to the restaurant. Another woman starting fanning him with a menu and he came out of it. The first responders checked his blood sugar and it was 117 and his blood pressure was 95 over 50 which is low for him. He refused to go to the hospital. So what could have happened to make him do this?
