My husband woke up about 1:30 am insisting he had been up writing an email (definately wasnt) he is diabetic and often goes low. I had him test and he was 47.
Does it make sense that his low blood sugar would make him talk nonsense while he seemed to be awake?
He drank some apple juice and after about 10-15 min, he came around to be his normal self.
I should mention that he has been lower than this before without this happening. Sometimes he's in the 30's, and the lowest lately has been 27.
His age is 54 and he's been a type 1 since high school.
It was scary - first thought maybe a stroke, but he wasnt slurring, droopy face, etc.
