Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mom had a heart attack about 18 months ago. A recent heart cathereriAtion revealed 80% of the heart is scar tissue. Doctor said nothing can be done anymore. She is now having chest pains at night (rest). My dad feels that this is a precursor to another heart attack. I'm thinking we should notify the extended family to hurry up and visit her. I don't want to give a false alarm, but I don't want loved ones to miss the chance to see her. Would you recommend letting them know they need to hurry up and visit?
