My mom is 87 and had 90% plaque in her left carotid. She had vascular surgery last week. Prior to the surgery, she was seeing floaters for awhile and then started seeing darker and bigger ones "following her." That turned out to be TIA's. After the surgery, she still sees floaters. Went to an opthamalogist and found out she has choloeterial embellious in her right retina. Is the next step to see a Neurologist?
