Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mom is 92 and has Type 2 for many years. Her blood glucose level before eating a bit ago is 356. Her A1C a month ago was just over 8. How do I treat this high level. Instead of her normal 10 units of insulin 75/25, I gave her 12 and planned on checking her glucose in a couple hours. Is that the right thing to do?
