My Mom Just Had Heart Valve Replacement 1 Week Ago.

My mom just had heart valve replacement 1 week ago. She is 81. She is experiencing seeing spots, slight confusion, and some memory loss. Is this normal? She is sluggish but can't sleep at night. One of the meds she is on is Levothroyxin....could it be something more with the thyroid?
