Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mom will be 80 on the 28th. she is in assisted living. she uses a walker and always on the go. she has had a couple falls, serious bruising on her thigh, but no broken bones. she doesn't communicate well. she has Huntington's disease. she has been taking lexipro and the pcp there suggested we start her on a low dose of Risperdal. my brother and I think that is too risky. they are trying to get her to relax some. it seems and increase dose in lexapro might work, or they are also saying Xenazine may be an option. was wondering about the interactions of the drugs too.
