My mother 52 years old .One doctor has put an injection on her heel. She has affected by osteomylities of right calcaneum ( ankle joint). we did many surgeries but no improvement. The calcaneal area again became swelling and more pain now, The orthopaedics suggested to repeat the surgery. Is surgery unavoidable?Ortho also said that surgery is not cure for this condition, So, we are extremely worried about her situation. Please give your advise.
