My mother (65) used to suffer from UTI one and hald year back and that time Doctor prescribed Niftran 100 mg (twice daily) to get rid of it along with Cranpac D. After completion of antibiotic course (niftran 100 mg) mom continued with Cranpac D and after some time she got rid of it. Suddenly last week she got bad smell during urination and we suspect that the UTI got relapsed. At this juncture should she start Niftran 100 mg again?
