My mother had a bad cough - no fever... Went to doctor and they said she did not have bronchitis or pneumonia... Diagnosed as upper respiratory... Gave her a steroid shot and some cough medicine..the cough is better but she is weak and appetite is not good. Does not seem to be improving.. It has been 3 days since dr visit... She is 93 years old... Does she need an antibiotic?
