My mother has itching that only effects both her upper arms, neck and scalp. She has been to an allergist and dermatologist and has been on multiple antihistamines with little to no relief. It is sporadic and the only thing that seems to calm it down is ice packs. She has no pain with this. Her dermatologist did recommend a chiropractor although she is fearful of this related to a bad experience in the past and arthritis in her back. She has seen an acupuncturist , but only one appointment so far.Do you have any ideas of what can be causing this and where to go for further help?
