My Mother Is 74 Years Of Age And Her Problem

My mother is 74 years of age and her problem is that she claims her body twitches (hands, feet, body) she claims also her knees are weak and that they gives out. She has fallen many times because her legs buckle and then she collapses. In the past she had a full spine reconstruction but when she was at the hospital she was overdosed with pain medication (opiates) and because of that she went unresponsive and once they weaned her off the medication she went into a catatonic state and ever since that she has been experiencing these problems and also her potassium level has been very low and the doctors keep claiming that the problems are caused by the low potassium but no one has corrected her problem and nothing seems to work. I am her son and I have been doing my best to take care of her and to get her better and to get her the proper care necessary. I keep thinking it may be neurologic is that possible? a couple of times she has fallen she did bang her head severely the last she ended with a small brain bleed.
