Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mother is 76 and 3 years ago she started repeating herself in our weekly phone conversations. Today she repeats herself every five minutes. She misplaces things all the time, like the keys the scissors, the cellphone... It's not a question of how often it happens. It happens every time she is doing something. Also there are several examples of confusion. She offers me coffee - which I have never in my whole life drunk - and when I tell her she goes blank. She cannot handle both her bank card and her rebate card at the teller machine in the shops. She is otherwise resourseful and socially adapt. Her GP will ask her what year it is and who is president and she will answer correctly and the GP will say she is fine. I don't agree. How can I best proceed?
