My mother is 86 and always has had a irregular heart beat. She went to the hospital for 3 days because of a cold and said her heart was beating very irregular. Dr. said she needs to take a stress test. My mom asked her if she could see a Cardiologist before the stress test to find out more information and why she needs a stress test and her Dr. said absolutely not. We are confused about this. My mom is really stress out about all this. What do you recommend. She is taking Warfrine ( blood thinner). She has RA and takes medicine for that. Up till now she has been doing very well.
