My Mother Is 98 And Apparently Quite Healthy. She Has

My mother is 98 and apparently quite healthy. She has developed a fever of around 99 F. She normally runs around 96.5. It is about three and one half degrees above normal. There are no apparent signs of an infection. She is on day 4 of a 10 day regiment of 250 mg Levoquin. Her temp. was just taken and is 99F.
Last year her urine culture came back positive for e. coli. She was given 10 days of ampicillin three times a day. She had this twice last year. Should we go in to the hospital thru ER? She has waves of feeling really bad especially during night and early in morning. It hurts way up in rectum or vagina. Cannot tell which. Has complained of this vague hurting up in there for several years. She is scheduled for a pelvic CAT scan with medium/dye this week. I don't know what to do. Van My mother's name is Merle.
