My mother's character has changed in the past 8 months or so. She has become jealous about my dad. she is very preoccupied thinking that my dad is looking at other women, talking too much to other women. My dad has changed also and he has been pointing out young women that he finds attractive. My mom's is fixated on the topic of my dad and the women. She talks only about that, she follows him sometimes, she's checked his drawer thecar ect to see if she finds any signs that he's been with a woman. My mom is aware that she istaking it too far, but she says that she can't stop. That once something gets in her head about my dad she doesn't stop until she confronts him. she becomes very mad and accuses him. i have made an appointment with a neurologist and also with a psychiatrist. I was very worried that it my be Alzheimer's but the symptoms didn't match. i have been told that older people sometimes have hormonal changes that can affect how they act also that maybe a combination of her medications may be causing the change. Not sure if this is enough information. But would like to know your thoughts.
