Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My name is Chris. About 5 months ago, I received unprotected oral sex from a street worker which I've never done before. I'm 37 yrs. old and I rubbed her vagina for a bit. No kissing of any kind and no other sexual activity. I took an in-home HIV test around sometime in March, about 3 months from the incident and it showed up negative. I've started staying hot all the time and rashes, diarrhea, but I've had rashes and diarrhea a bit before and have always had a bad stomach so I don't know what to make of that or the rashes. I have actually abstained from sexual activity till this one time. I'm also getting sore throat and headaches. I know all these point to potential signs of HIV so what do you think? I know they say get tested around the 6 month mark as well to double check.
