My neurologist days he's never heard of my year-old bizarre reading, hearing, and speech symptom. When I read and hear speech (especially on electrical devices--TV, radio, etc.) I'm perceiving it as in poetry-like metrics. I hear myself speaking metrically and am having difficulty getting words out as well.
This follows decades of more usual neurological events--difficulty walking, driving, fatigue, etc., variously diagnosed as MS and chronic fatigue syndrome.
I found MS as a cause on a reliable internet heAlth site but have been unable to access it again.
