My Niece Had Severe Pain Could Not Urinate Went To

My niece had severe pain could not urinate went to ER. They told her she had kidney stone. Her options was take medication and wait until stone passes and be in pain or have it extracted surgically. She could not tolerate pain any longer so she choice do surgery that same day.
Urologist said he put a stent. She was discharge eith pain medication. That night at home the pain was as severe the same as before surgery was done. Plus she could not urinate only drops but lots of blood. She went back to ER next day same hospital they put her on IV drip gave morphine, took XRay and said stent has not moved. They said it was normal to have so much blood and pain.
Discharged her with Ibuprofen 600mg. NOW HER WHOLE BODY IS SWOLLEN, LEGS, FEET SHE CAN'T EVEN PUT HER SHOES ON. WHAT DO WE DO? THE DOCTORS OFFICE TOLD HER ITS NORMAL AND WANT HER TO WAIT UNTIL THE 27TH TO COME INTO THE OFFICE TO REMOVE STENT. ALTHOUGH THE UROLOGIST THAT DID SURGERY SAID IN 6 DAYS WE WILL REMOVE STENT NOW HIS OFFICE STAFF TOLD MY NIECE TO WAIT 17 DAYS TO REMOVE THIS STENT. I FEEL SOMETHING IS WRONG PLEADE TELL ME IF THIS IS NORMAL.
