My Only Question Is, How Do I Find A Doctor

My only question is, how do I find a Doctor at my age of 64? Having had a lot of Health issues, I have been going to the same Dr. for 11 years, I don't know why?, Surley in that amount of time my blood pressure was taken twice, my Fybromyalgia had been chalked up to every issue I had, I was treated for Asthma, which I didn't Have, allergic to my birds, which I believe, however, not that after all of this time being so ill, it is now after an Endoscopy found that I have had infection in the Esophogus for years which leads to my 8 to 9 year cough. I went to my Dr. today to get some relief and was quickly dismissed and informed that the specialist would now take care of me. Please, eventually that happens, however, meanwhile waiting for the acid pills to work which takes months, I am still very sick and cough too much, causing other issues. I want a Doctor that isn't on the way out the door while I am still asking my question. What to do, where to go? Who to see? With only one kidney and the other having failed in 2004, I need better care than this. Thank you
