My periods has lasted 3 weeks, heavy flows, light flows with big clots bigger than a quarter. Changing pads about every hour to sometimes 2-3 hrs. I do have several fibroids on my left side. This period is different than the others I have had in past. This is bright red, like a cut would bleed with dark red clots, no cramps but major back ache. I'm becoming very tired from losing so much. My gyno has said I can do several things to help with these periods but my insurance won't help with the cost. What can I do to help ease the bleeding so I can get back to living my life??
