My Pregnancy Sack Is Small And Breasts Are Less Tender, Am I Still Pregnant?
Hi I'm 27 years, I took a pregnancy test and it gave me 2lines which means I'm pregnant but before that I drank stametta before taking the pregnacy test, I then decided to go to the hospital for a check-up the doctor didn't see anything on a sonar. I then waited for 1 week went to a private dr. Then he told me that he can a pregnacy sack but its very small. And my breast have become less tender do u think I can still be pregnant?
I understand that you had a positive pregnancy test as well as an ultrasound documentation of a sac. If a sac is seen then pregnancy is there. However if the symptoms of pregnancy are regressing then it may be a condition called missed abortion a kind of miscarriage where the baby is not alive but is still inside the uterus.
Such cases are very common in our practice. The recommended protocol for this is to wait for 2 more weeks and then repeat the ultrasound. If the sac increases in size then it is a live pregnancy. If the sac does not grow then it may be a missed abortion.
Sometimes there is bleeding during the waiting phase and it indicates an abortion.
So please discuss this with your doctor and repeat the ultrasound scan after 2 weeks for confirmation.
