My prescription was written for Lexoxyl, and I told the clerk that I wanted name brand (dr did not mark whether or not it could be substituted.) When I got home I saw that the prescription is Levothyroxine. What should I tell the pharmacist when I call tomorrow. I'm afraid he will say that Levoxyl is a generic.
